How to install Visual ProBooks after you've downloaded VisualProbooksLite.exe

• Select Open when downloading of  VisualProbooksLite.exe has completed to
  start Visual Probooks Setup.
  
  
• OR locate VisualProbooksLite.exe in the folder you downloaded to and double click to start
  start Visual Probooks Setup.
  
  

How to activate Visual ProBooks Standard Edition features

If you're already using ProBooks for DOS and Windows

   Visual Probooks is data compatible with earlier version of Probooks. 
           You can use Probooks and Visual Probooks on the same data simultaneously,
            for some functions, however some functions should not be run simultaneously in
            both Visual Probooks and Probooks Windows/DOS.
       
            We recommend you test Visual Probooks with a COPY of your data
            before using Visual Probooks with your live data.

   You can copy your existing Companies/Clients table to Visual Probooks.
            Copy the files \PROBOOKS\SYSTEM\ACLIENT.DBF and ACLIENT.CDX to \VPB\SYSTEM
             this table has your companies/clients)
                Or
            Start Visual Probooks.
            Select System, Setup, Companies Clients
            Add an entry that points to your data folder
            Return to System, Main, Select Company

   You can use your existing Users table with Visual Probooks.
            Copy the files \PROBOOKS\ADMIN\APASS.DBF and APASS.CDX to \VPB\ADMIN
                 this table has your user names and access group assignments
            Note: you will need to set up Access Groups in Visual Probooks.

   How to select the default screen size, font and colors.
            Select Preferences from the Menu Bar.
            Resize the screen to the desired size.
            Click on Set Current Size as Default.
            Click on Save
            You can also select the default Font, Font Size and Colors for various elements in this screen.

   Customized Modules for ProBooks for DOS and Windows
           Custom modules for Proooks for DOS and Windows must be recompiled for compatibility with 
            Visual Probooks. Please contact customer support for more information.
