
Support and Updates
How we charge for support
PC Accountant offers customer support to ProBooks and Visual ProBooks users
who purchase an annual update/support package.
If you have not previously ordered the current year’s update/support package,
your
update order is automatic with your first support call of the calendar
year.
Your first support call will be deducted from the support included in the
update/support
package (four incidents/one hour). Support after the first
four instances/one hour will be
billed at preferred rates.
Updating to the latest version of ProBooks or Visual ProBooks insures you have the most
recent
version
including any corrections and feature enhancements made during
the prior year.
Subscription to www.pcaccountant.com allows you immediate access to any
corrections
or updates made during the current calendar year, as well as
tax table and tax form updates.
Purchasing the annual update/support package means your support calls,
faxes, emails
will be answered as soon as possible without delay, and without
the necessity of making
payment arrangements with each support call.

Visual ProBooks Annual Update/Support Package Includes
Support after the first one hour or four incidents will be charged as follows
Support by Phone $25 minimum per incident. $2.00 per minute.
Support by Fax or Email $25 minimum per incident. $1.50 per minute.
Multiple calls or messages dealing with the same problem are treated as
one incident.
For example: Six faxes are exchanged over three days to resolve
a problem/problems raised in
one initial message. The charge will be a
minimum of $25. If the total minutes times the rate per
minute exceeds $25, the charge will be the rate per minute times the total number of minutes.
Credit Card pre-authorization or prepayment may be required for support services at our option.
